2009 الشكل الجديد
The hot-looking Nissan 350Z, or “Fairlady” as it’s known in Japan, is likely to be replaced by
an all-new model in 2009. Over at Edmunds Inside Line is quick video of a possible rendering of a car with styling that’s very similar to the current model. The source suggests that major changes include extended wheel flares both front and rear to accommodate a wider track, while front-end styling will be toned down. Expect smaller headlights and a sloping front bar.
No major changes are planned for the mechanicals. Suspension and drivetrains will remain much the same. This means Nissan’s VQ V6 engine but with a slight increase in horsepower, somewhere close to 325hp. The goal of the new design is to keep the 350z fresh against some of the new coupes hitting the market at the same time. One of our biggest criticisms of the 350z interior is its extremely poor interior, which resembles something you’d expect from a Kia, not a $30K sports car. Edmunds claims that the interior will be changed, but only with minor improvements. Apparently it will have more convenience features like storage and softer armrests. Look for a new prototype at next year’s Tokyo Motor Show with an official release planned for early 2008
